ملخص
الأدب الجاهلي تصوير لحياة أهل ذلك العصر، في الدين، والثقافة، والاجتماع، والحضارة، وهذا يظهر أهميته، وبخاصة إذا كان الشاعر متفرداً بين معاصريه من الشعراء، وسلم له بالريادة والتفوق والنبوغ. والمرقش الأصغر مع قلة ما وصل إلينا من شعره مثال على هذا، فقد تحدث في شعره عن الصيد، والسبق، والخمر، ولذته بالمرأة، وندمه على فراق من يحب، وحسن عشرة الصديق، والكرم. وهو مع كل هذا يكشف عن أدق تفاصيل الحياة التي عاشها، ويمكن الوقوف على ذلك من خلال بلاغة التراكيب. والدراسة مراجعة لما دار في كتب الأدب من كون فاطمة التي في أشعار المرقش هي فاطمة بنت المنذر ملك الحيرة آنذاك، وأن ابنة عجلان التي في أشعاره هي خادمة فاطمة، وقد تبين من الدراسة أن حظ المرأتين من أشعاره مجرد التسمية، ويستفاد من الجمع بين شعره في فاطمة وشعره في ابنة عجلان أنه يطلب المرأة التي تسر قلبه، قد تكون من غمار الناس وقد تكون من أحسابهم، ولا يشغله الرفعة أو الضعة عن متعته التي تطلب المرأة لذاتها، لا يؤثر فيه الثراء والجاه، أو الفقر والضعة.

Abstract
Pre-Islamic literature is a depiction of the life of the people of that era, in religion, culture, society, and civilization, and this shows its importance, especially if the poet was unique among his contemporaries of poets, and was recognized for his leadership, excellence, and brilliance. And the lesser mottled, despite the lack of his poetry that has reached us, is an example of this. He spoke in his poetry about hunting, racing, wine, his pleasure in women, his regret for parting with the one he loves, the kindness of a friend, and generosity. Despite all this, he reveals the finer details of the life he lived, and this can be seen through the eloquence of the structures. And the study is a review of what happened in literature books about the fact that Fatima, who is in the poems of Al-Marqash, is Fatima, daughter of Al-Munthir, the king of Al-Hira at the time, and that the daughter of Ajlan who is in his poems is the servant of Fatima. Fatimah and his poetry about the daughter of Ajlan is that he seeks a woman who pleases his heart, she may be one of the crowds of people or she may be one of their accounts, and he is not distracted by highness or lowliness from his pleasure that seeks a woman for herself, he is not affected by wealth and prestige, or poverty and status.
