تَعرض مقدمة البحث الاعتبارات والغايات التي دفعت الباحث للکتابة حول هذا الموضوع، مع بيان إشکالية البحث، وخطّته التي رُسم عليها.
أما التمهيد فتناول التعريف بالدکتور حسن إبراهيم حسن، وکتابه محور الدراسة، ونبذة عن المنهج الاستشراقي في الکتابات التاريخية. ثم أردفت ذلک بالمناهج المختارة موضوع الدراسة وهي:
أولًا:- منهج التأثير والتأثر.
ثانيًا:- منهج الإسقاط.
ثالثًا:- منهج التعسف في التفسير والتعامي عن الدليل القاطع.
وتلى ذلک خاتمة بها أبرز النتائج، ثم ثبتًا للمصادر والمراجع.

Abstract:
Research Title: The impact of the orientalist Methodology on the writings of modern historians, A Book "Tarikh Al-Islam Al-Siyasi, Al-Dini, Al-Thaqafi, Al-Ijtima'i" "History of Islam, Political, Religious, Cultural and Social" as a model.
The introduction presents the considerations and goals that prompted the researcher to write about this topic, It also clarifies statement of the research problem and its adopted proposal.
A preface presents a biography of Dr. Hassan Ibrahim Hassan, and gives a brief overview for both his book, which is the focus of the study and the orientalist Methodology in historical writings. This was followed by the Methodologies that were chosen in this research. These include:
First: Impact and Influence Methodology.
Second: Projection Methodology.
Third:The arbitrariness Methodology in interpretation and ignoring conclusive Evidence.
This was followed by a conclusion with the most prominent results, and then proven sources and references.
