الملخص :
الحمد لله، والصلاة والسلام على خاتم أنبيائه، وعلى آله، وأصحابه أجمعين، وبعد.
   فهذا البحث معنيٌّ بدراسة ما وصفه بعض النقاد بأنه أفضل بيت قالته العرب، سواء كان هذا البيت في باب المدح، أو الهجاء، أو الغزل، أو غير ذلك من الأغراض الشعرية .
  وتهدف هذه الدراسة لأن تقف على أهم المعايير البلاغية والنقدية التي اعتمد عليها النقاد في إصدار هذا الحكم المهم؛ لأن الوقوف على هذه المعايير فضلا عن كونه مما ينمي ملكة الذوق الأدبي، فإنه يضع أيدينا على بعض أدوات النقد التي يمكننا أن نعتمد عليها في الحكم على بعض الأعمال الأدبية  .

Abstract:
Praise be to God, and prayers and peace be upon the seal of his prophets, his family, and all his companions, and after.
This research is concerned with the study of what some critics described as the best verse that the Arabs said, whether this verse was in the chapter of praise, or satire, or spinning, or other poetic purposes.
This study aims to stand on the most important rhetorical and critical criteria upon which critics relied in issuing this important judgment. Because standing on these criteria, in addition to developing the faculty of literary taste, puts our hands on some tools of criticism that we can rely on in judging some literary works.
